I was contacted by the Internet Giftstore to try out something from there website and to give you guys a honest review and what better time to do so with Christmas around the corner. The first thing I noticed on the website was the amount of categories they literally have everything they cover all sorts of brands such as Disney, Ted Baker, Star Wars, Yankee Candles and Minions. This sort of website is perfect if you'd like to do all your Christmas shopping in one hit without having loads of different parcels from different companies. The sample I received I've loved, Infact I haven't even used it as I really don't want to ruin how beautiful it is. I went for a Ted Baker Notebook and its all worked out great since I have a new job which is partly why I haven't used it. I know the pictures aren't the best but its rater hard to photograph as the writing is like a rose gold colour. I'm going to use this beautiful notebook for my new job and it arrived at a perfect time as I was going to buy one which wouldn't have been half as nice as this. I'll probably replace the pen for a pencil and that was the only thing that let it down for me a beautiful notebook with a pencil? But I have noticed all the other on Internet Giftstore now come with Ted Baker pens. Another thing I like about this book is the cover and the back are really tough it's a proper hardback which I like as I throw everything in my bag and I don't really want a Ted Baker notebook getting bent and ruinned. If you'd like to purchase this actual notebook then click here.
They do have a clearance section online which is 80% off and it is updated regularly. If you are interested in getting yourself one of these and maybe starting your Christmas shopping they have Free UK Delivery on orders over £35 and they have a 'No nonsense money back gurantee' so what are you waiting for? Head over to internetgiftstore.com and grab yourself a bargain. I've decided to pick some things off the Internet Giftstore that I'd like for Christmas.. 1. I always struggle with going on holiday because I insist on taking everything I possibly own from my bathroom and bedroom, but with only having 15kg that was not possible so I decided I'd need to get some travel mini's and to be honest I didn't I didn't know where to start. I'm a massive fan of the Lee Stafford Hair Growth range and although the bottles are small I didn't fancy taking my whole collection with me, so after looking at the same section of Boots for about half an hour I picked up these Charles Worthington Sunshine Protector Shampoo and Conditioner. I really liked the packaging of these products the bottles are a unusual shape but it kinda works and makes them feel rather expensive (they're not) I can't actually remember the price I think it was around the £3 but it was 3 for 2 on all travel mini's so I could be wrong. I did really like this shampoo and it lathered up really well but it's not a shampoo I'd pick up after the Lee Stafford collection bores me it was a decent enough shampoo for my holiday but I think full size bottle's of these would be a lot more expensive for a shampoo and conditioner which for me didn't work miracles. My hair tends to get really dry on holiday and just in heat so I definitely need the sunshine protect after conditioning I would automatically use my coconut oil from Inecto which I have done a review for here. Sorry for the lack of blogposts I seem to be using up old products and trying to not spend my entire wages on make-up and pretty products but I do feel like a nice sit down catch up blogpost so keep your eyes peeled, make sure you follow my brand new facebook page over at facebook.com/drugstorejunkie I'm doing a MAC lipstick giveaway of your choice. Follow me at bloglovin to keep up-to date with all my new posts - https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/drugstore-junkie-blog-13992724 Thanks for reading! Going on holiday means one thing duty free! Whilst at the airport in Luton I checked out the Mac counter as I was debating between 'Whirl' and 'Velvet Teddy' after doing the typical swatching I decided that 'Whirl' had won me over a bit more as it was darker and you know after my love for Mac 'Stone' that I prefer darker shades but at Luton they had none. I left disappointed but coming back from my holiday I visited a small little Mac counter at Palma de Mallorca and they had 'Whirl' so I had to have it and it was only £13 so a slight saving! I can already tell this is going to be my new everyday shade, I still love Mac 'Stone' but it is more of an evening lipstick because it's very dark. It's a very pink, mauve shade with a hint of brown which I love and obviously it Matte which means it lasts so much longer, I'm not sure if the formula is different but after wearing this for a few days I find it more moisturising than 'Stone' and I'm not sure why. It's such a nice nude shade and I think it's one which will suit most skin tones.
Did I mention I love it? Do you want to get 'Whirl' for free? All you have to do is 'like' my facebook page over at https://www.facebook.com/drugstorejunkie and as soon as we hit 300 likes I will be running a competition to win a Mac lipstick of YOUR choice, simple really and anybody can win! Today I'm going to be talking about the two books I read and finished before my holiday even finished (This may contain spoilers) I loved both of these books and the fact that they are both now films is even better. First of all Gone Girl, I started reading this and found it really confusing so I restarted it and I was hooked I could not put it down but I didn't want to finish it. Nick Dunne is one of the main characters and he is just an average type of guy with what you think is an average wife Amy, Amy then goes missing and fingers all get pointed to him as blood is found in his house and she has a diary written about all the abuse he put her through. It's such a clever book and I think Gillian Flynn thought up such a brilliant idea and got everything perfect. Out of the two I preferred this book as soon as I got back from my holiday I decided I had to see the film and it was only £5 from Morrisons bargain! Anyway do not watch this film with your parents there is a lot of disturbing scenes and sex scenes I mean if your parents are cool then go for it but just a warning. I couldn't rate this book any higher if I tried it's definitely a good mystery messed up love story. I really wish I could tell you the whole story but I don't want to ruin it, Also another bonus with this book was that when I finished it had the first chapter of another one of Gillian's books 'Dark Places' which I think I'll pick up when I see it. Now on to Paper Towns, I don't know if it was just me but I just didn't get it, I only picked up this book because I've read probably like everybody else 'The Fault In Our Stars' which was amazing and I'd read that on a previous holiday but this book was just pointless it was about a girl that had gone missing left loads of clues but never really wanted to be found. It has a lot to do with poetry so I'm not sure if I'm missing something? I think when I see the film it will make a lot more sense as I just don't quite understand it very well, although I might give it another go or read some peoples theories to see if they understood it. I'm sorry about the rubbish review on this I just didn't understand it, help?! Anyway if you haven't guessed I'm back off holiday and I will be back to regular blogging as I have missed it.
