This isn't what I'd usually blog about but I love reading other people's holiday posts and seeing other parts of the world and planning future holidays. On Tuesday 22nd we flew to Spain Majorca and are currently Santa Ponça which is a beautiful little place in between El Torro and Magaluf, this place is brilliant if you'd like to visit Magaluf but don't actually way to stay there. We flew at night we took off at 10.45 and arrived at 2.05 which is 1.05 in UK time. We decided to go all inclusive as it saves so much money which we don't have much of whoops. Victoria's Secret at the airport you know the dangers then closely followed by a Mac stall which didn't have Whirl or Velvet Teddy WHY! We've only been here one day so far and to be honest I'm shattered because of the night flight so kinda looking forward to walking along the beach and getting into bed! I'm not going to talk about outfits as I'm going to do a massive holiday outfit post when I'm home and I can really blog. I'm struggling on an iPhone 6 😭 The one thing I love about this place is everybody is so friendly I've already made a group of friends and they are so welcoming. So far it's lovely having my boyfriend all to myself, no work and just doing what we want when we want, even if I have to watch Arsenal Vs Tottenham in a bar joys of being a girlfriend. Will keep you updated, let me know if you've ever been here! So it's a little bit crazy that I've been blogging for 6 months, I don't know where the time went and to be honest I didn't know whether I'd still be doing it. I'm usually one of those people who starts something does it for a bit then forgets about it but this is something I've kept going and I'm still growing. I have 76 followers on Bloglovin' Which I never expected and to some it's not many but knowing that at least 76 of you read my blog is enough for me to keep it going.

Follow me at bloglovin to keep up-to date with all my new posts - https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/drugstore-junkie-blog-13992724 This isn't my usual blog post but I think it will be an important one. Oh and to the random boy who's probably reading this hoping for some bra pictures you are in the wrong place, sorry. I always see statistics saying '80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size' I'd think to myself how can people get this wrong you can tell if a bra fits or not can't you? Well I went to London with my boyfriend for his 21st and I've always wanted to go to Victoria's Secret as I'm always looking online but I'd hate to pay the £30 shipping rates. I visited VS on Bond Street in London which I think is a flagship store or it should be anyway, It was amazing it was like being in a designer bedroom the stairs all had clear crystals as rails it honestly was amazing. I wanted to go to the PINK range as that's what I liked, a lady overheard me and sent me downstairs to the PINK range, I spent ages and ages looking for a bra that I'd seen online and found out it had gone into the sale so I found the new collection which was pretty much the same the lady showed me all the different types and asked if I'd been measured and I saw no. She introduced me to a girl called Amanda who was lovely and she took me into the fitting room asked me what size I was wearing and what styles I liked. I told her that I was wearing a 34B it was a old bra and I think I bought it because I needed a black bra she measured me up and said I was a 29 band but the smallest they do in store is a 32 and cup size she put me at a D so 32D I almost burst out laughing me a 32D? She bought me a nude coloured beige body bra and I tried it and it fit. I rang the little doorbell which they have in the fitting rooms so you can change in private and said it was perfect she offered to get me some more styles but I refused as I'd left my poor boyfriend outside on his own probably feeling a bit awkward. She gave me a little card with all the information I'd need, You can see I tried on the 'Body by Victoria' in a 32D and it fit perfectly. I picked up the one I wanted and found the matching knickers and went to pay feeling £40 down I couldn't quite believe I'd worn a bra two cup sizes smaller for a good 7/8 years of my life how could I get it so so wrong? So girls before thinking those statistic's are wrong go get measured. The only thing now is I can't quite get my head around D cup boobs you think they are going to be really big but they get bigger by the band size because the cups are bigger so a 36D is going to be alot bigger than a 32D even though they are called a 'D cup'. VS get slated alot for sizing people wrong as I believe they only sell from A-DDD so alot of stores have been slated for sizing people wrong so they buy their bra's from them. That's enough talk about boobs for one day! Also make sure you follow my brand new facebook page over at facebook.com/drugstorejunkie I'm doing a MAC lipstick giveaway of your choice. I personally love winter I love layering up and scarves I obsess over, so I'm that annoying person who cannot wait for summer to be over then get half way through winter wanting summer back, sorry.
Please note some of these aren't hack's they are just winter idea's. 1. Bad cough? Put Vicks on your feet and put on some fluffy socks and the next day you'll feel a lot better, well I did anyways. 2. Are you one of those girls who always has a little hand sanitizer in your bag? Did you know it will also melt your icy car door locks? or another alternative is to light your key with a lighter as this will also melt the ice. 3. Another car related tip which I haven't tried but apparently if you put socks over your window wipers it will prevent them from freezing. 4. Use last years jumpers that you won't wear this year to make cute mittens its super easy and here's a tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9D-CPdGi5A 5. Are you going to watch a football game or have you got to stand in the same place for a long time? Take some cardboard to stand on it will you keep you much warmer than standing on a freezing cold floor. 6. Bright red nose before your night out on the town? Before covering it up with make-up and every type of concealer you own apply a warm not hot flannel to it this will calm all the blood vessels in your nose. 7. Do you have a beautiful lipstick you adore but want a matte shade for the winter? add loose face powder over any lipstick and it will turn it matte but make sure you apply some sort of chapstick before doing this as it can be drying. 8. Has your mascara got cold and dried up? Put the tube into a small glass of hot water for 5 minutes and it will almost renew it so you can use it again. 9. Winter means wind which means bad hair days, if you have a spare tooth brush spray it with hairspray and this can help tame any flyaways. I really didn't want to leave it on a odd number 9 but that's the way it goes, I hope these facts are helpful I'm the type of person who will spend hours reading these but forget them all when I need them. So here are my top tips on how you may be able to get some free samples.
1. Don't start your blog and request samples - you need to grow your blog and your audience you need to promote and follow other bloggers so you can get an audience. Nobody's going to give away samples if nobody's going to see your review. 2. Start small - Don't start by emailing Mac or Benefit these are huge companies who want bloggers with large followings. You're better off looking for smaller companies who may need people to basically advertise for them. 3. Think about what your writing - Most of my samples I get I had to work for I'd spend a long time typing up different emails linking all my blogposts to show off my work. You need to sound professional. 4. Offer to pay for postage - This isn't essential but sometimes I offer because it's polite these companies are giving you free products which are from their business the least you can do is put the offer there. 5. Request samples you are interested in - Don't message a company of you have no passion in it, it will show in the blog post and be a let down. 6. Follow the guidelines - If a blog wants to have there link shown 3 times make show you do it, the only time I won't do something is if I don't believe in it for instance 'make sure you tell everybody how great it is' That is something I will not do no matter what the brand is. 7. Don't be disheartened - Sometimes companies have enough bloggers and they don't need anybody else always make sure you reply to these emails because they may need you some day. 8. Join Networks - Google blog networks there is many out there such as 'Brandbacker' and ' The Blogger Network' these are great to sign up for because the companies put up what they need and you can apply for as many as you like. Follow me at bloglovin to keep up-to date with all my new posts - https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/drugstore-junkie-blog-13992724 I feel as if I haven't done a classic good old review for ages, probably because I've been trying to save some money and not buy every single beauty item I read about. Today I'm talking about Rightguard Shower Oils Shower Gel, I think I picked this up in tesco a for about £1 and because I have such dry skin I thought the oil would be good for it. This contains 3 oils Marula, Argan and Almond oil which are super good for your skin. There was a couple of different bottles but I picked up the one which said 'dull skin' and to be honest I can't remember what the others were for. I've used this a good few times and even while I was camping and using freezing cold showers. It's left my skin feeling really soft and my dry patches have cleared up which is a bonus for me, it also lava's up really well so you don't need much. The only thing is the scent doesn't last which doesn't bother me as it's only a cheap shower gel it's more of a fresh moisturising smell if that makes any sense. If you are looking for a cheap shower gel which is really moisturising and good for dry skin I would recommend this one. Follow me at bloglovin to keep up-to date with all my new posts - https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/drugstore-junkie-blog-13992724 This is the first Mac lipstick that I was like 'I need this' since trying matte lipstick's Ive always wanted that perfect brown/pink shade and it ticks all the boxes. I never really understood the 'Velvet Teddy' hype I just thought it was Matte pink shade but I must admit I'm debating it now. I know my blog is a 'budget' blog but sometimes I have to have the real thing before I can find you a perfect dupe but I've heard NYX 1000 Years is a good one but back to Mac... First of all I was super lucky to get this as it seems to be out of stock at the moment I think its going to be the whole 'Velvet Teddy' and 'Whirl' situation all over again, so good luck girls. Although as I'm writing this it is in stock but you won't see this until its posted which is a few days later. On the Mac website it is described as 'Muted grey ish taupe brown' I haven't found the perfect lipliner for it yet as I like to get a slightly different shade but the good thing about this lipstick is like Whirl it started as a lipliner. This shade isn't a everyday shade although I did rock it too work but its more of a night out shade or a special occasion and I definalty think its more for a tanned tone as I think it would completley wash you out. Stone is also a shade which looks different on everybody sometimes its more brown sometimes it more grey, the best thing about this lipstick is the stay factor it really does last all day. I think I topped it but twice and it was only the middle of my mouth the edges were perfect and it kinda looked good more faded in the middle as it gave more of an ombre look.
Since I've cancelled my Mr Blanc subscription I've decided to buy one lipstick a month so I can build up a collection my next one will have to be either Whirl or Velvet Teddy. P.S I loved my Mr Blanc but my teeth wouldn't go much more whiter! So thats my top 5 series at the moment let me know if you start any of them!
